Yasushi Koshizaka, the Grand-Prix winner from the General Selection 2004, will be showing his latest film "THE GREEN DAYS"! The film, starring Chise Nakamura from "Swing Girls" (2004), is about students from a film-school making a documentary on two high school girls, and will proceed in fake-documentary style.

On the road: a documentary on two young girls.
This movie, a fake-documentary, is about film school students making a documentary on two high school girls hitchhiking in family restaurants.
Chise Nakamura stars the film. She is a rising actress ever since her appearance in "Swing Girls" with releases of photo books and DVDs. Others featuring the film are Miyuki Kikuchi (also in "Shin Yanmamatrucker"), Yuki Yoshinaga (also in "Onigiri"), Satomi Ishii (also in "Battle Royale"), Masashi Kagami (also in "Masked Rider Blade"), Mirei Asaoka (also in "Zenido 4").
The performers, acting as production crews in the film, have actually filmed more than half of this movie. It is an unparalleled and ambitious style of work, narrating the drama in pure documentary taste.

Yasushi KOSHIZAKA was born on December 25th, 1966, in Tokyo. He has graduated the Department of Cinema, College of Art of Nihon University.
After a job in a PR company, a subsidiary of Toei Co., Ltd, Koshizaka now works as freelance with a directing career of more than 100 films. His "SHOTGUN MARRIAGE" won the Grand-Prix for the General Selection category in TOKYO INTERNET MOVIE FESTIVAL 2004. "THE GREEN DAYS" has been made for the supporting program of the festival. He has won many other prizes, including the Grand-Prix award for the Off-Theatre competition in YUBARI INTERNATIONAL FANTASTIC FILM FESTIVAL 1998. His dramas include "KNOCK" (WOWOW Internet Movie), and "Hitoridachi" (Starring Hitomi Miwa).

HONG KONG BUTTERFLY
"HONG KONG BUTTERFLY" is a romantic comedy, which story takes place in the famous and fascinating spots of Hong Kong.
The movie is based on a newly-written novel by Hiromi Mori, a writer who also works as a songwriter with a successful million-selling record.
Junichi Mori, also director of "Laundry," has made this film into a heartwarming, romantic comedy. It will be the first time for Nana Katase, the starring character, to take the leading role. She excellently plays the young luckless woman who decides to join "The Lucky Hong Kong Tour" planned by her longtime friend.
The fan-fiction is a must-see, with both still and moving images that you can see only on the web!
Story
The leading character Naomi (Nana Katase) is always and absolutely out of luck. At her office, she makes a momentary meeting with Sugiyama (Motoki Fukami) whom she was infatuated with in her high-schools days. But she could not even bring herself to speak to him. Then one day, her friend Makiko (Hisako Shirata) emails to invite her to Hong Kong. Makiko is working in a travel agency and has planned a tour to visit the lucky places there. Naomi travels as a monitor, but nothing makes her less unlucky than she is…when one day she hears of the myth about the “Hong Kong Butterfly,” a rare swallowtail that brings miracles upon those who see. |
